Yield is a business profit-tracking app for cafe and food-business owners. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data Yield collects, how it is stored, and how it is used.
All data you enter in Yield — sales entries, expenses, menu items, overhead costs, and settings — is stored locally on your device only using iOS secure storage (AsyncStorage). We do not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your business data.
Yield does not collect, transmit, or share:
If you enable the app lock feature, Yield uses Face ID or Touch ID (via iOS LocalAuthentication) to verify your identity before opening the app. Biometric data is processed entirely by iOS and is never accessed, stored, or transmitted by Yield.
If you enable daily reminders, Yield uses iOS local notifications to deliver them. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device. No notification content is sent to any external server.
Yield allows you to export your data as CSV or JSON files and share them via the iOS share sheet. These files are saved to your device and shared only through the share destination you choose (e.g. email, AirDrop, Files). Yield does not receive copies of exported files.
Yield does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services.
Yield is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
